Pandemic situation in Germany
Updated: Oct 08, 2021.

The situation in Germany continues to allow holding our conference in Lübeck and at the Hamburg Planetarium.

Recently, restrictions in Germany have continued to ease. Vaccination rate is estimated to have reached more than 75% of the German population.

Nevertheless there are still some restrictions to be aware of:

At registration desk you will need to show proof of full vaccination OR proof of recovery OR Antigen test not older than 24 hours OR PCR test not older than 48 hours upon arrival.

BUT to attend the Gala Dinner Saturday night you will need again to show one of these documents. That might mean that your PCR test OR Antigen Test has expired. There is one possible solution to that namely to have a Corona test in Lübeck at own cost. An Antigen test will unfortunately expire to be free of charge the week before the conference. It is estimated to cost approx. 25 Euro, and you will need to take time for doing the test.

THEREFORE, we strongly recommend that you have proof of fully vaccination. If you feel comfortable with telling us your status of vaccination before arrival, we would very much appreciate as it will help us with our plans.

In many public spaces such as public transportation it still is obligatory to wear face masks inside. So please, bring medical masks (FFP2).

Also, it might happen that medical masks are required in the dome and lecture room presentations.

You need to send us the registration form with your personal information. We are required to store your data for four weeks after the conference.

Finally, please check your own country for travel information on Covid travel restrictions.
